14th China National Engineering Construction Skill Competition

From 4th-6th July, the 14th China National Skill Competition of the Engineering Construction Industry was held. Over 100 industry leaders, professionals, and referees meet for the event in the city of Jia Yu Guang. 

The competition was first organized in the year of 1993. It was the first national skill competition for welders in the frontline of welding engineering and manufacturing. It gradually became the most valuable and well-known of this kind because of being professional, high in criteria, and scientific. For the highly skilled welders, the Competition has become a platform to display their capabilities. It is also supportive of the development of the whole welding industry. 

Product Director of Megmeet Welding Technology, Mr. He Zhijun was invited as a keynote speaker for the session with a report titled the Request by Intelligent Welding on Power Sources and the Solutions. By analyzing the limits of conventional welding equipment while facing intelligent and automatic welding, Mr. He a detailed request on the design of welding equipment from the aspects of communication, sensor-interfacing, and logic. With his professional background, he shared his thoughts on how welding equipment may integrate 3rd party sensors thru software and hardware designs.
